Billing Philosophy
Total Technology Solutions is a Professional Service firm that offers technology services billed by the hour just like Accountants and Attorneys. Fees are based on the time, expertise and knowledge required to complete each service engagement. As each service engagement is unique, it is sometimes difficult to predict the total cost of an engagement.
TTS will provide an estimate in advance of performing any service work for the customer. This estimate is subject to change based on the actual work performed. All pricing is considered an estimate until the service is completed. TTS bills its clients in 15-minute increments for all services rendered including; estimates, site surveys, research, ordering, documentation, and travel.
Due to the negligible margin on parts and supplies, any hardware/software order costing over $500.00 shall be pre-paid in full by the client.
Our company billing philosophy is to provide the best solution based on industry best practices. We are not trying to provide the least expensive solution like our competitors, because in the end, the least expensive solution is not a solution at all. Instead, we believe in providing the correct solution at a reasonable price.
We do not participate in bid projects; the reason for this is our company philosophy dictates quality work with a professional staff and as such, we do not compromise our pricing. We are not trying to be the cheapest solution provider. Instead, we want to provide the best cost effective solution without compromising the quality of the work.
Invoices are promptly submitted after the work is completed and are due net 15. A finance charge of 1.5% per month will be charged on any unpaid balance more than 15 days past due.
