Cathy A.

Technician

Cathy grew up around computers – her earliest memories are of Apple IIes and Commodore 64s in the first computer labs on Fort Gordon. She received her BA in English from the University of Georgia in 2002, with a focus on technical and creative writing. She completed her first original science fiction novel in 2010 (and is in the process of trying to find an agent as well as write another novel.) She is a self-admitted geek, and also likes video games and Japanese animation. She loves science, technology, music, art, and food and drink. She absorbs information like a sponge, and can usually be found observing her environment if she’s not reading or writing something. Cathy is also an operatic mezzo soprano and a trained cantor, and will sing upon request in multiple languages.
